As a packaging design company, we love having unique products to work with and enjoy the eco-friendly approach Moruu takes. With that in mind, there were some challenges to coming up with the perfect packaging for these inspirational products.

​Research as a Packaging Design Company

Each member of our packaging design company’s team jumped into researching the best design options. We found that there are a few companies making bamboo cotton swabs. We decided we needed a bold and creative approach for Moruu to stand out on the shelves against these competitors, even if the shelves were digital.

Design Inspiration

​

Our initial research as a package design company revealed many natural-looking plain boxes with text on top. The agency decided to go in a new direction in terms of color. We had unique plans going up across the office, and narrowing those down was difficult. We knew we wanted to use color, and everyone had a lot of ideas on how.

 

 

 

Result

​

The result was a bamboo cotton swab box design that quickly moved into people’s carts. The color scheme ended up natural while still having a pop, so customers were intrigued as they strolled the aisle. Moruu has also told us that packaging our company designed is perfect for its customer base of conscientious consumers.
